The New Year at Dumbara Micro Credit was welcomed with a meaningful and respectful observance, reflecting our values and traditions.

The day began early in the morning with the chanting of Pirith, creating a calm and spiritual atmosphere. This auspicious start allowed us to reflect with gratitude on the past year and seek blessings for the year ahead, for our organization, our team members, and the communities we serve.

Following the Pirith ceremony, staff members gathered to share a traditional milk rice breakfast, symbolizing prosperity, unity, and new beginnings. This simple yet significant gathering strengthened the spirit of togetherness within the Dumbara Micro Credit family.
